Zacchaeus is a son of Abraham, the father
of faith, ready to leave *everything* and
follow the Lord.

Notice that salvation is a process. He was
not yet crucified and risen. Yet salvation
has come.

The tree is the cross. I would like to be
crucified with you. “Come down” (Humiliate
yourself.) He met the Lord on the Tree.
